Carnival is coming up again! The highlights of the traditional "Fasching" in Munich start on Jan 31st with the Faschingsparade, followed by party all around the old town from Feb
07th - 09th.
But did you know that all of Munich celebrates on Tuesday, February 9th? Many people in Munich do not work that day (or only half the day) and join the big party on and around Viktualienmarkt,
which starts with the traditional Dance of the
Market Women at 10.30 in the morning. Join the party on Frauenstr. or Reichenbachstr. or one of the many pubs and bars around Gärtnerplatz.
